Built by tradespeople. For tradespeople.

Run your trade.
Not your software.

Jobs, quotes, invoices, parts, payments, crew — one sharp tool instead of six mediocre ones. YATR stays out of your way and lets you do the work.

You've tried these before.
They all let you down.

Every year another "all-in-one" app promises to fix your business. It charges enterprise prices, buries you in menus, raises the rent whenever it feels like it — and still can't handle how you actually work. So you're back to spreadsheets and sticky notes.

ServiceTitan Jobber Housecall Pro ServiceM8 FieldPulse mHelpDesk Workiz ServiceFusion

From estimate to invoice, without the paperwork

Quote it, win it, work it, bill it — one flow, no re-typing. Assign your techs, attach photos from the field, log notes where the job lives. No 47-step workflow builder. Just the job, moving forward.

  • Quote becomes job becomes invoice — one tap each
  • Photos and notes attached to the job, not lost in a group text
  • Real-time status your whole crew can see

Take payment anywhere the work happens

A fast, clean register that works on the counter or on the boat. Ring up parts from your catalog, add labor from your rate card, collect payment on the spot — not thirty days and two reminder emails later.

  • Card, tap-to-pay, cash, and Bitcoin Lightning
  • Thermal receipt printing
  • Inventory adjusts itself when you sell

Know what you have. Know what you need.

Real stock counts, real costs, real margins — not guesses. Track parts across the shop, the truck, and the warehouse. Purchase orders that actually close the loop instead of dying in someone's inbox.

  • Multi-location tracking that matches reality
  • Purchase orders from request to receipt
  • Cost and margin per job, visible before you bid the next one

Everything else you need

The details that separate a real platform from a demo reel.

Yours, actually.

YATR doesn't live in someone else's cloud. It runs on your server, with your data, under your control — and it keeps running no matter what happens to us. That's not a feature. It's the whole point.

Why we built it self-hosted →

Built inside a working shop, not a product lab

YATR was built on the Portsmouth, Virginia waterfront, inside a marine electrical shop that had to invoice, stock parts, and make payroll while the software was being written. Every screen earned its place by surviving actual workdays — wet hands, dead phone batteries, sixty seconds between jobs.

Nobody here has ever run a product lab. We run a shop. When something in YATR annoyed us, we fixed it, because we were stuck using it too. That's the whole development methodology.

Buy it once. Own it.

A perpetual license per major version. No subscription, no per-user meter, no kill-switch. Your software keeps working whether or not you ever pay us again.

The source is free forever. We sell the polished installer and the signed update stream — WordPress, not Salesforce.
